It’s finally happening - we’re getting an upgrade!

From MONDAY 20 APRIL, our Playhouse will temporarily close for Bayside City Council-funded renovations.

We feel incredibly lucky to be upgrading our wonderful space and can’t wait to welcome everyone back once completed.

We’re reopening nearby, from Wednesday, 22 April at:

665 Hampton St, Brighton

We appreciate this is short notice for some, but want to sincerely thank our exceptionally community for their flexibility and support whilst we wait out the upgrades.

  • Our Playhouse is undergoing Bayside City Council-funded upgrades to improve the safety, accessibility and comfort for families.

    • Last day at Hampton: Saturday 18 April

    • First day at temporary site (Brighton): Wednesday, 22 April

    The renovations are expected to take approximately 3 months.

    There will be no access to the Hampton site until the renovations are completed.

  • From Wednesday 22 April, we’ll be operating from:

    665 Hampton St, Brighton

    This is a former MCH centre, located at the intersection of Hampton St and Were St.

  • No. The space at Brighton is smaller, so:

    • Playgroups are paused

    • Capacity may be reduced

    • There will be less toys, craft and outdoor equipment available for play.

    We’ll still offer a warm, welcoming play experience for families.

  • We are suspending our weekly playgroups until we understand the space better.

    We’ll be keeping our members updated on potential playgroup and playdates however through our WhatsApp Community.

    If you’re a member and would like to join our WhatsApp group to remain updated, please contact us directly.

  • Yes - but parties will be hosted at the temporary Brighton site. This site is significantly smaller than our Playhouse.

  • We are still taking Term 2 memberships, but note that the majority of the term will be spent at the Brighton site only.
